Issa Split! Asos Evening Gown

Hey there Curvy Girls!

I know it has been forever since my last post but I've been super busy with school and you will definitely get to hear more about that in a later post ! But for today's post, I want to share the details behind this absolutely stunning evening dress that brought my inner diva with its fantastic and daring split.

On Sunday, I went to a banquet for my aunt's church and it gave me a great excuse to finally wear a evening dress I bought two years ago! That's right! This slinky little wine number, from Asos, has been sitting in my closet for two years waiting for a occasion to shine.

Styling this dress was super simple and I chose to highlight the cowl back and tantalizing split shine without overdressing the outfit.Paired with simple gold hoop earrings, a delicate gold choker, a few bangles, and dewy makeup, this sexy form fitting dress was perfect for the event I attended. My favorite part of this dress beside the color, was of course the split, which I had raised to show a bit more leg.

When looking for evening wear, I always purchase what makes me comfortable and build from there. Long events, like banquets and weddings, call for outfits that are stunning but can hold up with adding discomfort. A common misconception is that evening wear must be extravagant, when it really doesn't have to be . It can simple and sexy and this dress proves that!
